About Dr Larwood

Dr Kelvin Larwood is a long-term Sunshine Coast resident and father of three children. After completing primary and secondary school on the Coast, Dr Larwood studied Nursing in Brisbane, Medicine at The University of Sydney and completed his specialty training in hospitals throughout South-East Queensland.

Gynaecology

Women experience many changes throughout their life and Dr Larwood is here to provide experienced care at all stages. From teenagers with pelvic pain to women with period problems, prolapse, incontinence, ovarian masses and menopausal problems Dr Larwood is easy to talk to and combines a kind caring approach to your care with expert surgical skills when needed. Whenever possible surgery is performed laparsoscopically ‘key hole’ which is minimally invasive and aids recovery.

Fertility

Many women find it difficult to achieve a pregnancy and experience pregnancy loss. Dr Larwood understands the importance of helping women and couples fulfill their dreams of achieving a pregnancy and having a healthy baby. Dr Larwood aims to do this in the simplest possible way and is able to provide complete fertility care for both male and female fertility problems including assessment and treatment of azoospermia in men.
